Do you have gently used or new items that are just sitting in your closet, taking up valuable space? Do you have items that you no longer wear? Maybe you lost weight or bought on impusle? I mean, who hasn't? Perhaps you switched from a dressy professional environment to a casual one. Your quality castoffs can be turned into extra cash! So take inventory and head over to Trixie Boutique, your local Consignment Store!
What does it mean to "consign" something?
To consign something means that you bring in your items for us to sell for you. You sign a contract for a specific amount of time and after your items sell within the agreed time frame, the profits are split between the Consignor (you) and the Consignee (Trixie).
How does it work?
Come on by to Trixie with your previously, but gently loved items. We will inspect each one and tell you which things (if any) we believe will sell in our store and fits our store image. Items should be new or gently and in overall Good Condition. (ie: no holes, rips, stains, or other major defects. We understand that these items are used and may not be in "perfect" condition, but we expect that there are little to few flaws and no major defects. Again, the object is to sell.) At that time, we will explain the entire process and if agreed, we will consign your items on contract.
What kind of items do we accept?
We sell women's apparel and accessories, including handbags, shoes, and jewelry. We welcome designer items as well as select other brands. Items must be in Good Condition and within Current Style and Trends. We prefer that you bring in on a hanger as we would like to price them immediately and get to the sales floor. Please have items clean, smelling fresh, and without wrinkles.
