Meet Robin! Robin is not only adorable, but she's perhaps the sweetest gal you'll ever meet! She moved to Rocklin with her husband, Dwayne in 2002. In Spring of 2013, she opened Trixie Boutique! The boutique started off mainly carrying women's Consignment apparel & accessories.

"I know that not everyone can afford boutique clothing. I wanted to help out in the community by recyling clothes, doing consignment." -Robin  

 

Trixie Boutique has never been the stereotypical consignment boutique, however. Prior to opening, Robin's vision was to have a real boutique style and atmosphere. This meant putting a lot of TLC into every design detail, which her and her husband did so very well! This also meant that the boutique would be inviting and relaxing! There's even a big, comfy couch in which to relax on while shopping, enjoying a beverage and trying on clothes. If that's not enough, Robin, herself gets to know everyone that walks into her store as if they're long time friends!

 

Two years later, Trixie Boutique is made up of half Consignment and half Salesman Samples from Spain, San Francisco and England! Not only do you not have to travel to get these unique and stylish finds, but they're also half the cost of what you'll usually have to pay! Talk about a deal!!

 

The story behind the name...and the why...

"My husband & I had a very good friend pass away last year (2012), & he used to call me "Trixie." His passing was a catalyst for me--I realized I loved people, loved clothes, & that life was too short." -Robin

 

If anyone knows or has even met Robin, you'll know that she definitely loves people! She's very much a "live life to the fullest," type of person! She's also compassionate, fun and stylish! Trixie Boutique is just like Robin, herself...tiny, unique, fabulous and fun!

 

What makes Trixie Boutique different...

"I look for name brands, things that are cute and different and unique. I don't take cookie-cutter items!" -Robin

 

Although Trixie Boutique started out with consignment, the items she now carries, the style she presents, and the hospitality she shares all are factors in which make Trixie Boutique unique. We see a lot of people walk into Trixie Boutique for the first time. The look on their faces are usually that of exicitment, as many women love to find new places to shop! After a few minutes (sometimes seconds), it almost changes to a look of confusion. They see the new, interesting and fun styles we have to offer, but then they see brands they recognize. They also see things for all ages and sizes. After a brief tour of our store, the smiles get even bigger! "Wow!" is usually the response! It warms our hearts and excites us when people are excited about shopping here!
